In the vacations...

Well i was sort of  fat in my school days. The person next to me is Rohan Joshi. Intelligent guy though, Rohan always showed a keen interest in cycling and travelling. We were going to Upvan Lake which is at a higher point so we were climbing up hill without gears. That explains my sweat ! lol :P

Mumbai all the way !

I had an awesome holiday of 3 months. I spent most of the time playing cricket which all my friends did. Besides from that i also paid visit to Mumbai. The commercial capital of India and the city for which everyone strives for.
It was like 45 minutes by train from where i stayed. I remember is used to pick up some friends and have fun there. Every time  you feel great while getting off at the C.S.T railway station . Its majestic.
There are lots of places like the gateway of India , Prince of Wales museum(which is now renamed), Jehangir art gallery etc
Mind me if you stay in India then a trip to Mumbai is worth the time you would be spending there !

Last year in high school (part3)

My school life ended . SSC exam papers went well and i was waiting for results. Mom took home tuitions which was quite famous in Thane city. Because of these tuitions we were unable to go on any holiday. The last holiday i remember was on February 2004 ; we went to goa as dad was back from work from Kampala, Uganda.(He stayed there for 5 years without us ).
Dad had bought me a mobile (Nokia 6303c) which  i was in love with at first and then i started to hate.
At that time android had started hitting the market and it was its dawn.
Finally the results were out on the internet and my heart was pounding like hell. Dad was sitting besides  me. I saw the results . It turned out to be i fell short of 1 mark for 90.00% and i got 89.82%. which i figured out minutes later. Mom was very happy with the results at the beginning. Later, while she was conveying to other relatives , i heard her saying that he could have done better. I asked myself what the hell was that ?
My friend , Rohan Joshi got exact 90 % . He was the guy with whom i had spent my whole summer vacation of 3 months. Interesting guy though , I met him at Excel Classes where i went for getting better marks and which helped me a lot. We both cycled like hell every morning
          more stories to come !

Last year in high school (part2)

I had also participated in science fair. We were working on LEDs which consume less power, give more brightness and can stay alive for 11 years.
Prelims were not as good as i had expected. I just got 79%. I had heard from many seniors that you will 10% more in SSC exam than what you get in Prelims of high school.
Then came our farewell day. I asked all my friends for the dress code and what they were going to were for that day. Everyone was gonna suit up and so was I. I wore my dad's suit which he wore in his own marriage years ago.My school had organized a perfect farewell for after a honored service of 10 years. Its all is well that ends well when you have good friends who are just interested in studies and want to become someone in life with a determined goal.We went in a photo studio after the function ; i may upload the photos later.
SSC arrived while i was well prepared for it. We had 6 subjects and the top 5 subjects were going to be selected. English was higher language and it went worse.
Maths and science went awesome. Before i went to the exam I remember Mom once took me to a temple and told me to pray for my exams as it decided my future. I just asked God to give 90% and nothing more. All the other papers went well and so was the vacation!

Last year in high school (part1)

I was promoted to 10th standard (last year in high school ie what they call in India). 9th standard went horrible in studies. I hadn't joined any tuition classes as they didn't taught every thing in school.Teachers thought that everyone went to classes and some of them didn't give a damn about teaching. So i studied with the guidance of my mom and dad.
The year was 2010. The world was developing and progressing rapidly with the evolution of technology and i was still using a Pentium 4 PC with a CRT monitor.(FYI i was using it since 2003).Though it was a bit slow , i could work on it with a few bangs on the monitor as they image on it was distorted sometimes. I talked to dad about a new one,he said that he will think about it.Till then  i have to work on it.
Standard 10th studies were going smooth as i had joined classes which belonged to my best friends parents. Every topic was covered well and my concepts were cleared. Mom told me to work hard and score more than 90% to get a better college
S S C board examinations were coming close as i was buckling up for prelims.

Where it began

Coming to robotics, when i was in high school (9th standard) ,the thing which made me feel excited was science fairs !.Ultimately the topic was robotics, which was conveyed by the school authorities. The topic  was decided by the prime minister of the school(head boy) , thanks to him i am in robotics because of him !. I was teamed up with two friends which had pre-requisite knowledge of electronics like i had. With painstaking hard work of a month we built 3 bots which were half manual.I borrowed a laptop from my friend (which i shall mention later). We were the first to do this in the entire history of my school,i e to make such cool bots and show ppts. We impressed the judges and so was the whole school impressed by our work. We won the competition. I was feeling on top of the world. At that time i learnt a lesson that if you worked real hard for something and do just more of what is expected then no one shall stop you on being on the top.
Coming to the bots
1) It was a simple crane with an electromagnetic coil which lifted the screws from one place and dropped them in boxes
2)It was a bottle cap fixer
3)It was a mining drill bot

The heriditary transfer

As i had mentioned earlier, my dad is an engineer so there is a super transfer of genes from him to me. He is a B E. in Electrical Engineering. I had lot of transfer of knowledge about computers and electronics and as a result of that i am interested a lot in robotics, programming and web developing. Coming to web developing ,I am the founder and CEO of www.gettutorialized.com ,a website where you may get free video tutorials and various things which i want to convey to the world. There is actually another story behind making of this website. It was indeed a milestone for me
C ya keep checking for more stories and fun from my life !

Finally i have a blog !!

As i can say proudly I am one of those geeks and nerds which are found in every college. In my blogs you will find memories of various events of my life which you may find entertaining.
I am an engineering student(Computer). As engineers are said to be one of the most intelligent people around the world ,i chosed to become an engineer as i had aptitude towards it and my dad too is a great engineer. My mom is a teacher so I am flourished with the perfect guidance whenever i need !. Catch out my life and times in my Blog .
